For about four weeks I got no sleep. I would have trouble breathing and would cough all night. I might have gotten a few hours a night, but that was still interrupted with intermittent coughing. That did nothing to help the long days I always had ahead of me. I was very tired of it and in great need of some relief! So, one night when I couldn't take it anymore, I called Pastor John crying. I wanted him to pray for me that the coughing would go away. I wanted some rest! Pastor John prayed for me over the phone and one of the things I remember him saying was, "Jesus, let her sleep tonight."

Well, after we hung up, I could tell that something was different. There was still a slight wheeziness and cough but I was hopeful! I still couldn't help but cry. I went to bed soon after that and slept...all night! I woke up and cried because I had not slept through the night in four weeks and I was so thankful. It was not a small thing for me and I felt rested! Jesus was teaching me (again) that he wants to be there to help me and all I have to do is ask. It was very sweet and so very wonderful. I will never forget that feeling the next morning. It has given me more faith to trust in my sweet Jesus.
