Hello:
My name is A. C. X, and I live in Yukon, Oklahoma. Is there anyone in Yukon, Oklahoma, or elsewhere in Oklahoma, with whom you are affiliated or acquainted and with whom you would recommend I visit?
Thank you.

Hi AC:
Unfortunately, there is no one there that I know of, even though I feel sure that God has His "seven thousand that have not kneeled before Baal" somewhere. When I attended Oral Robert Grad School of Theology, I met some good folks north of Tulsa from the old pentecostal school who had love and faith, even though they did not understand much of the true doctrine, and those old folks are surely gone on to be with the Lord by now. That's as close as I could possibly come to knowing who out that way has heard from Jesus concerning the things he has taught us here.
Why do you ask, if you don't mind telling me?

Hello again,
I don't really know how to express it all in only a few words, but, the long and the short of it is, I want "the baptism of the holy Ghost." The below expresses what I'm aiming for fairly concisely.
"The baptism of the holy Ghost is for you, and so are we. It is essential that you know that nothing but the baptism of the holy Ghost will cleanse your soul. It is the baptism of the holy Ghost that makes a man a member of the body of Christ (1Cor. 12:13), and it is the baptism of the holy Ghost that washes from our hearts the stain of sin (Acts 22:16), removing even the desire for sin from the heart of man. The baptism of the Spirit is the experience which makes a man a new creature in Christ Jesus, fit to live in eternity among the saints."

Unfortunately, I do not know anyone here in Oklahoma who meets the "and so are we" criteria of the above quoted material. And given much of the content of your website, I thought, perhaps, you knew of someone here in Oklahoma with whom I could visit.
Thank you.

You don't need to belong to a group anywhere in order to receive the holy Ghost. A number of godly people I know received the holy Ghost alone, in bed at night or praying in their homes.
In his first letter, John tells us three things that will always lead to receiving the Spirit. (1) Believe that Jesus is the Christ, (2) Do righteousness, and (3) love the brotherhood, or the family of God. In each case, John says that whoever does this is born of God. Do these things and then expect Jesus to fill you with his Spirit! And let me know when that happens!

January 15, 2002 Brother Rob:
The fear of the Lord entered into my heart when I read that article on Islam
and the public schools!
Brought this scripture to my mind:
Jer.12
[5] If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how
canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou
trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of
Jordan?
Now is an easy time to serve the Lord, as Brother John has said. But the
"swelling of Jordan" is coming and we are going to have to be mature in the
Spirit and "the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which
every joint supplieth." We are going to have to grow up in Christ, Brother
Rob, so "that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and
carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and
cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. . . ." It is time
to put away childish things!
I have never been so blessed by the above verses in Ephesians 4 as I have
been this week. It is time to put behind us the little things that keep
robbing us of the joy and peace of the Lord! Well, my, my, if we cannot
even overcome the small, petty things of this flesh, how in the world are we
going to endure the persecution that is surely to come? We are going to
need every experience in Jesus, every feeling from the Spirit, and every bit
of the Power of God to endure what is coming on this earth! And it is time
for our children to know the importance of the Power of God.
There is a time when the joy of the Lord is our Strength, and there is a
time when God said, "Their strength is to sit still." Our strength and our
trust can only be in the Lord. Listening to and following the Spirit is our
only help, Brother Rob, and I am so thankful that we have that counsel and
guidance to lead us every day. We have no problems if we have the Spirit.
We just need to listen!
My prayer is that we all mature spiritually in the Body so that we can be
"fitly joined together" in Love. I am thankful for every brother and sister
that the Lord has given me, and for my part in the Body. To "keep on
keeping on" as Preacher Clark told me many years ago seemed such a small
thing. But, oh my, how much wisdom that man of God had! He had those
"real" experiences with Jesus and knew the Power of God! Going forward in
God as He draws us closer and closer to the Goal, to our Home, and to our
Eternity with Him!! Now what of this earth is worth trading for that
Reward!! Praise God, Brother Rob!
Sorry I got longwinded, but the Spirit in me today just feels like traveling
on!!
Sure do love you,
See you tonight!
Sister Sandy :)
Rob's response:
Amen on every word, Sister Sandy! I keep feeling such a strong desire to
get well established in the Truth. "Deep rooted" is the phrase that
keeps coming to my mind the past few weeks. Jesus wants people who love
Him and his Father so much, that nothing else really matters when a
choice has to be made concerning all the little decisions we make every
day of our life. At the end of the day all of our decisions should be
based on Jesus. Making Jesus and his Father happy, that is our number
one job on this planet. There is coming a day when we are going to have
to know "what we believe" and "why we believe, what we believe". The
roots of the Truth are going to need to be deeeeeeep in our hearts. Now
is the time to prepare and now is the time to seek more understanding
and knowledge of what Jesus has for us. The storm is coming, prepare
now! Things will not always be as they are now.
That is one of the many wonderful things of the truth; you can never
get enough and you should never stop wanting more and more. Whew, your
e-mail really stirred me up. I am glad you are on the team. Two more
phrases that are running through my mind after reading your wonderful
e-mail:
-Do not be picky eaters! Eat what is put on the table.
-Do not think you have enough of Jesus for now, so tonight/today you'll
just hold back and let someone else have some! HA :)
AMEN!

Looking at that zodiac site and some others I found has shown
me so clearly one truth that Satan will never allow his ministers to
use. Different ones of them have certain pieces of truth; they have
worked out prophetic stuff that appears quite amazing, they read the
prophets with fine tooth combs, but you know they just cannot read
[and understand] 1John at all [concerning the spirit of antichrist].
It seems all Christian ministers synonymise the Antichrist with
the Beast. They, perhaps correctly, speak of New World Orders, the
zodiac and other star signs and conspiracies and Satanic counterfeits
[and from left field, pyramids on Mars!!!???] but none teach that the
greatest counterfeit of all is Spiritual and involves "fake passports"
to enter the body of Christ. These people so quickly read over the word
"antichrist" [and John's definition of it], substituting Satan's
attention-shifting redefinition that they miss it completely. And, of
course, if you say something to them, you are part of Satan's work
against their "divinely ordained ministry".
The day God gives you or whomever the power to really preach
this to the world, "hell" will break loose. Satan will be furious to
say the least when the truth about the body the Christ, and what it is, and how
you get into it are made known widely and loudly.
Interesting days to come.

Damien:
Yes, I agree. The truth about the new birth will be the key
to God's children realizing that they must come out of Christianity,
if they want to be united in the Christ, if they want to please God,
and if they want to serve Jesus in spirit and in truth. Satan seems
to be able to endure almost any of the blessings God gives His people
except the truth. The truth is what makes us free, and the truth is
what binds the prince of darkness.
Oh, God, help Your people! Trying to open their eyes, Jesus
has, instead, infuriated many of his own children by sending them
messengers with his truth for them. They do not recognize the love of
God when they see it because love, too, has been redefined by Satan's
ministers. (Have you ever heard the first sermon that I preached, in
1993, after Jesus revealed the truth about Christianity to me? It is
called "Destruction by Redefinition"). Solomon said that the man who increases in wisdom increases
in sorrow. How true that is! It is a precious blessing to have our
eyes opened by Jesus to understand the truth of the gospel, but then, it
hurts to see the condition of our brothers and sisters. But what can we
do? Many of them will die defending Satan's right to be in the body of Christ.

Hello Pastor John,
I and OFS had some bible study on Sunday the 21/10/01. OFS
told me he had some questions that he would like to ask, so when we
had time alone at home we studied. We looked over 1 John 4 regarding
the issue of Christianity being the antichrist and in addition to what
we have heard from the you on tape, it was such a blessing when we
could read them out from the bible ourselves. One part that really
touched me was the explanation of the words “every spirit that
CONFESSETH that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh”. We had some problem
with the word confesseth as we have known that word to mean by
Christian standard to verbalize something without being moved by His
Spirit. The confusion and burden was lifted when we look up the word
(confess) in the concordance and it says that it means to Acknowledge.
Also we looked up the reference in the verse where the above quote was
taken (1 John 4:2b) which was in 1 Corinthians 12:3, it showed us that
to confess Christ means to “speaking by the Holy Ghost”. Again I am
left with wonder where these Christians get their meaning to words
like confess Christ and accept Christ from.
We also read Romans 10:9 which is the most popular verse that
the Christians quote to say that if one confess his sins and accept
Christ, he shall be saved. The first word that we noted there is the
word SHALL (future tense). Does it not mean that even if their
definition of confess is correct, that one does not get saved as soon
as he confess (but shall be saved). As we dwelt on that Romans 10:9-10
thinking if the Christians were correct after all, the Spirit made us
to read further down some verses. It was when we read it to verse 17
that we discovered that there is more to it than the eyes of the
Christians could see. Verses 9-17 is like a ladder. The word Confess
is at the top of the ladder. The Christians do not see the other items
from the bottom of the ladder which one must climb (pass through first
before getting to the top. They did not see that 1) sent from God, 2)
to preach the Word of God not bible 3) the Word will be heard by
people in other to believe; 4) believing then will make the person to
call on the Lord (pray); 5) sincere call from the heart of the sinner
will be answered by God’s righteousness 6) God’s righteousness (His
Spirit) will then confess (acknowledge) to such a one that truly that
It (Holy Spirit) has arrived in the soul of that person.
Among other things, we saw the true meaning of “and how
shall they preach, except they be sent?” in verse 15. Christian
ministers use that verse to collect money from people to send out some
people whom they call missionaries to preach their denominational
gospel and not that of Jesus. Here we discovered that “except they be
sent” means that except the Father anoints on to preach His word, such
a one is not sent.

Brother J. O. E.:
You are learning much, and well. Keep it up.
You will be interested to learn that the phrase "calling on the
name of the Lord" is a Biblical phrase that refers to something that man
cannot do without God's help. According to Zephaniah 3:9, the holy
Spirit must inspire even that.

Hey Pastor John
In the course of talking with brother Peter he has sent me
certain comments he has received regarding Xtns,Muslims etc.
One of these, from a lecturer at one of the most highly
regarded Pentecostal colleges in Aust., contained the following
comment. "She rejects the Bible which is the ONLY basis of our
belief"
I don't agree that the bible is the only basis of our belief.
I don't feel it is a basis at all. I think the Spirit is the true
basis of our belief and that the Scriptures become useful because
the Spirit gives us the faith to believe them and know that God
inspired them. I would appreciate your insight on this issue.
We have had some follow up rain as well. The Lord has been
gracious to us.

DC:
Anyone who has the Bible as the basis for their faith will
fall. Jesus condemned the Jewish leaders of his day who trusted in
the Scriptures to save them. Paul wrote to the Corinthians that
he didn't come to them with eloquent orations but with the power of
the holy Ghost "that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men
but in the power of God."
During WWII, my father was engaged in conversation with two
ministers who were worried about their ministries because Hitler, it
was rumored at the time, would do away with all Bibles. They asked my
father what would he do if all Bibles were destroyed. He responded,
"Preach the gospel." He could continue to preach without a Bible
because "the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power." The Bible
didn't send him to preach; Jesus did. If a man's ministry is
dependent upon having a Bible, he has no ministry ordained of God.
The power of God is a threat to every man's ministry who is without
it. Paul condemned the work of those who had a "word only" ministry.
There is almost no real preaching being done on earth at this time,
compared to what must be, if the body of Christ is to do well. What we see
instead of preaching is teaching, and most of that is false.
The power of God is the only sure basis of faith. It is one's
personal experience with the holy Ghost power that produces in the
heart a sure foundation for faith. God's people need power from God,
and need it desperately. I cannot stress that too much.
Pray that Jesus will touch us with his power.

My dear sister Nic'kole,
I had a difficult time chatting with you yesterday. Our Internet
kept acting up. I do apologize and look forward to chatting with you today
or any other day. Because of the way our discussion ended yesterday and considering
what I said about someone not being born again until he/she speaks in
tongues, I would like to explain it further.
In my KJV bible, John 3:3 has this to say: "Jesus answered and
said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
1again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." There is a small figure 1
before the word Again in that verse. In the centre reference another word
for the word AGAIN is FROM ABOVE. This mean that we can render John 3:3
in this manner: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, Except a man be born FROM ABOVE, he cannot see the kingdom of
God."
From the examples that we have in the bible, to be born again
means to be JOINED in the Body of Christ. This joining, being born again
or regenerated is a spiritually thing and should be viewed with spiritual
eyes. If you read John 3:1-11 carefully, you will notice that Jesus talked
about two births (verses 5&6). Those two births were referred there as
"born of water" and "of the Spirit" or "born of the flesh" and "born of
the Spirit". Putting all together we have born of water to mean natural
birth (you know water comes out before natural birth) and born of the
Spirit to mean to be born of God in the heart. Every human has the first
experience but not so many have the second.
After these two distinctions, Jesus went ahead to tell Nicodemus
and others listening to him how one can know that he/she is born of the
Spirit (born again). And still using physical example, Jesus used WIND in
verse 8: "The WIND bloweth where it listeth, and THOU HEAREST THE SOUND
THEREOF, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth; so is
every one that is BORN OF THE SPIRIT" (CAPS here and in other places are
mine for emphasis).
And if you remember correctly the Acts 2 experience, it was
recorded like this in Acts 2:2-4 "And suddenly there came a SOUND from
heaven as of a rushing mighty WIND, and it filled all the house where they
were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire,
and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy
Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
utterance." The above shows the disciples of Christ got born again on the
day of Pentecost according to God's standard, though man through Xty will
teach us otherwise.
You might be quick to ask, "so the disciples were not born again
while they are doing the good work of God with Jesus"? My answer
according to the scriptures will be YES. Permit me to explain it so that
you will understand it better. We were told in Hebrews 9:15-17: 15And for
this cause he is THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, that by means of
death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first
testament, they which are called might receive the promise of ETERNAL
INHERITANCE. 16 For where a testament is, there must also of NECESSITY BE
THE DEATH OF THE TESTATOR. 17 For a testament is of force AFTER MEN ARE
DEAD: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
From the above, we can see that Jesus needed to die first, be
buried, resurrected and appear before the Father and be accepted as the
sacrifice (Atonement) before believers can have spiritual Body to be born
into. What actually happened in Acts 2 experience is that Jesus ascended
to the Father some days before. Father accepted His sacrifice (atonement
for our sins) and had to send the holy Spirit to the disciples to confirm
to them that Jesus' sacrifice has been accepted. His sending the Holy
Spirit is to fulfil "they which are called might receive the promise of
ETERNAL INHERITANCE". This means that NO one was Born Again until Jesus'
sacrifice was accepted by the Father.
I would also like to show you another scripture to help your
understanding. That scripture is in 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit
are we all baptized INTO ONE BODY, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether
we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 27
Now ye are the BODY OF CHRIST, and members in particular.
From that we can see that it is the baptism with the holy Spirit
with the evidence of speaking in tongues that takes us into the Body of
Christ and makes us members of that Body. It also simply means that those
today who love God, who are in several denominations doing the best they
can for God but do not speak in tongues are like the disciples before they
received the holy Spirit baptism. They are showing God their desire and
interest to be accepted into His Kingdom. I will say to you and others
what Jesus said to the disciples in Acts 1:4-5 "And being assembled
together with them commanded them that they should not depart from
Jerusalem, but WAIT FOR THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER WHICH, saith he, YE HAVE
HEARD OF ME, FOR JOHN TRULY BAPTISED WITH WATER, BUT YE SHALL BE BAPTISED
WITH THE HOLY GHOST NOT MANY DAYS HENCE". Keep seeking Him and one of
these days, like he sent a confirmation to the disciples, He will send the
same to you. I know you have questions. Correct?
