Who is the "Whore of Revelation"?

In the book of Revelation, John was stunned by the vision of a magnificently arrayed "Whore". He wrote: "I saw a woman sit on a scarlet colored beast . . . and the woman was arrayed in purple, and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornications. And upon her forehead was the name written: MYSTERY, BABYLON, THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with great amazement" (Rev.17:5-6).

For years, Protestant Christians have rightly understood this Great Whore to be the Catholic Church, which reigns on the seven hills of Rome (Rev.17:9). What Protestant Christians have altogether missed however is that the Whore (who is also called "the mother of harlots") has daughters. Who are this harlot's "daughters"? Who are the offspring of the Catholic church, and where are these daughters today?

The answer should be no mystery. If the Catholic church deceptively lays claim to represent Jesus Christ's body (the body of Christ), we may also expect her daughters to do the same. The answer to the discerning seeker, is that the harlot daughters which sprang from the Great Whore are none other than the Protestant faiths of "Christianity". "Christianity" in any of its forms is NOT the body of Christ. The body of Christ are those individuals which have received the real spirit of God. Catholicism is the greatest of Whores because it is the most perfect form of Christianity. No other Christian faith can rival her ability to allure men. No other Christian faith has the money, power, or age (experience). As Uncle Joe (a now deceased pillar of Pentecost) once said about a small run-down little Pentecostal church, which had cluttered the space (once used for prayer) at the altar with an ornate Christian communion table: "They can't be as wrong as the Catholics, no matter how hard they try!" Yes, Uncle Joe, it takes a lot of money to be as wrong as the Catholics. But the "daughters" are now getting wealthy too.

What Protestants need to ask God is, "What makes Catholicism a whore in God's sight at all?" If they would do that, and if God would answer them, they would learn that the very thing which makes Catholicism a Whore, also makes their denominations "her daughters". The whorish spirit of Christianity inspires and permeates both Catholicism and Protestantism, and God's call to "Come out of her my people!" is a call to escape Christianity altogether. We are speaking plainly: ALL of Christianity - Baptists, Pentecostals, Methodists, Lutherans, Assembly of God, Four Square, Apostolic, United Pentecostal, Fundamental, "Bible Believing", "non-denominational", and every other denomination or sect which names itself "Christian" has partaken of Catholicism's spiritual "harlotry".

The doors of Christian churches are the doors of harlot's houses. There is no malice in that statement - please hear the truth. The doors of Christian churches are "the gates of hell", and they shall NOT prevail against the truth of Jesus Christ. These places of mass spiritual confusion are, like the high places of Israel, "at the head of every street, and along every road". They are proud of the symbol of the Roman tool of torture upon which Jesus suffered, so much so, that they place it in the highest parts of their "sanctuaries" and upon their "spires"! In them, the truths of God in Christ Jesus are avoided like the plague. Taking the place of truth is their particular denomination's "brand" of a gospel both foreign to, and hated by the one they claim to serve. Men and women who have never received the real Spirit of God are welcomed as "family" there. Rebellious children are told "they are saved", instead of being chastened and healed. Inside these houses, the perverse doctrines of "Christianity" (not the truth of Jesus Christ) are preached with conviction and zeal, but it will ALL end in the pains of hell. God has not ordained it. God's children are there (because they want to please Jesus), but in reality, they are held in these prison houses because they refuse to love the truth.

Long ago, the saints wandered from the right way of Jesus Christ and the apostles. Paul said "all they in Asia have turned away". He saw it come, even in his day. Men, fearful to remain within the power and safety of the holy Ghost, bought safety from persecution by merging with the Roman Empire; they bought relief from social scorn by adding philosophy to the gospel. Their defenders were no longer "apostles", they were "apologists": Justin Martyr, Origen, Augustine, and the other "early Christian fathers". . . had all gone astray from the true gospel. This was the same Augustine, so loved by Christianity today, who wrote that "it is foolish to expect everyone who receives the Spirit to speak in tongues." Highly esteemed among men perhaps, but an abomination to God.

The mind of man became the center of the saints' religious life, and the holy Ghost was relegated to a position of one part of a divine blob. Jesus was made the same person as God the father. The children of God committed adultery with the Roman state, and the result of that intercourse was what the world now knows as "Christianity", the most celebrated and adored religion that man has ever invented - and from God's perspective, the greatest whore that ever plied her trade on earth. And what is it that makes one a daughter of that Whore? What is it that unifies this perverse family of harlots?

It is the fact that ALL of them will welcome as forgiven, as pleasing to God, as sanctified vessels, as blood washed saints, those who have never truly been born again. The greatest act of whoredom on this planet, the rock on which the Catholic church and every harlot daughter is founded, is the lie that a person can be "born of the Spirit" before they are baptized with the holy Ghost (with the evidence of speaking in other tongues). THAT is the unifying whorish spirit that unites them all. Listen to this man: If a person has not received the holy Ghost baptism, they have never been put into the body of Christ! (1Cor.12:13). Let that sink in. The gates of hell will never prevail against it! That is a truth that will never be quenched. And how you receive that reveals your true spiritual condition regardless of how you appear before men. How you love to hear that reveals how much you love the harlot's bed, despite how chaste you appear to those watching.

Sitting on her stolen throne, as if she were the real bride of Christ, "Christianity" in all is sects, forms, denominations and non denominations, has power over the societies on earth. But her ministers are the ministers of Satan; her doctrines are doctrines of demons, and her doors are the "gates of hell". The Whore of Revelation is the Catholic Church. But don't let that puff any person up. Her daughters are the denominations or sects of Christianity which you may be enjoying as a member right now. To all, the Spirit is still pleading: "repent or you will likewise perish". Hopefully you are among the wise who will obey this earnest call of Jesus to the ones he gave his life for: "come out of her my people!"
