The first time I picked up this book as a young person, I would read it to get comfort and relief from things I was going through in high school, and again in college. It is filled not only with godly living, but common sense living, and I have found out that the two go hand-in-hand. God knows exactly what I need to read every time I open the book, and it is usually something that I never knew was in there, even though I had read it many times.

The section on "Friends and Neighbors" was a very sweet lesson for me that helped me keep the right thoughts about a situation I was going through. I read, "A true friend will correct you every time you stray from the right path, even if doing so causes you pain. He will never tire of doing what he can to hep you find the path to eternal happiness." That is so sweet to me! This went deep in my heart and made me feel nothing but love for the person correcting me. Every once in a while you need reminders. This is a wonderful book that has blessed me time and time again.
